The Bowman excels at long-range combat, with powerful attacks that are particularly effective against infantry units. Training this troop requires resources including food, wood, and ore.

History

In the 13th century, the Kayi tribe, a prominent branch of the Oghuz Turks, was renowned for its skilled bowmen. These archers were integral to the military strategies of the tribe, excelling in both foot archery and mounted archery. The Kayi bowmen used composite bows, which were highly efficient and powerful, allowing them to launch arrows with great accuracy and force. This proficiency in archery played a significant role in the tribe's defense and expansion, contributing to the foundations of what would later become the Ottoman Empire.
